Pros

Great co workers. Nice building.

Cons

Management is very demeaning, treats the staff like unskilled labor begging for a handout. All we want is respect and to be paid a fair wage. This company takes pride and brags openly about getting the maximum work out of you for the least amount of compensation, like that's something to be proud of. I used to love my job. I am in a skilled profession with several decades under my belt. When I was hired I was given a minimum starting wage plus compensation in the form of good insurance and hsa contribution. The wage was low, but due to the economic downturn my work history was a little sporadic so I took the job. I thought I could build up to a market level wage in time but as I found out later, raises are rare, and pay is consistently below market. They dangle raises as incentives, then take 6 months or more to actually give it to you. There is also no formal way to ask for a raise. If you do ask you will most likely be put off. To add injury to insult, they changed the insurance. Not only changed it, but stripped it to bare bones. Also they took away most of the hsa contribution. They are self insured, and went with an unknown third party administrator that up to this point has been less then helpful. No one can get their bills paid and my family has medical needs. They changed the benefits 3 times for the worse AFTER we had to turn in our paperwork. And now we have been told not to contact the insurance company because we are bothering them. No one deserves to be treated with as much disregard as this company has shown to all of its employees. We are paying our own medical bills and hoping to get reimbursed. One consolation is they have offered to help us with med expenses directly if we get in a bind, i honestly don't want them to know my business so i am declining that offer. There is no sign of this getting better. The company takes no responsibility for the problems and blames it on anything but poor management. I am angry but mostly just disappointed.

Pros

Easy to get a job there. Nice Kitchen facilities, if you can stomach the Christmas/Church service Party you could win a nice gift in the "White Elephant Gift Exchange.

Cons

High turnover. Company is cheesy.Half the employees are relatives so good luck with that. Cheap/tight with their money. (Company has been fighting a large lawsuit that has drained their pockets). Owner of company is Narcissistic!

Pros

Not too far from home.

Cons

Desperate for a job? Can't bare driving an extra 30-60 minutes to Seattle everyday for the $15 minimum wage? Then come work at Continuant! Where they expect nothing but excellence and fake smiles daily! You even get paid a wopping $10 an hour! Oh that may seem low, but they have ohhhh so many enticing benefits for you to stay for the long haul! Spa benefits, paid childcare, and even a gym membership! Group activities to spark creativity for the overall benefit of the company, and the daily tease of that promotion you want. The only catch is you have to make it through a probation phase. Don't worry though. No company with INTEGRITY would ever let someone go a month prior to the probation phase being over. And I'm saying that with all sincerity, but INTEGRITY is something this company lacks sadly. They'll meticulously count the hours you have, and let you go just short of enough hours to get unemployment. They preach of all the money that YOU helped brought in. Even tease of a bonus. Then cut you off without a second thought, and claim 'downsizing'. The shadiness of this company in that aspect is quite sickening, but very corporate like. If you do decide you need this job. Make sure you are drug free. They drug test once you start your first day. Save yourself the time and embarrassment from being the person they gossip about that day. Work somewhere else, where you'll be appreciated. Sincerely. I hope this helps someone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your views regarding our company. We are sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience. The probation period is designed to ensure that you and the company are a good fit together. We find that this grace period helps the employee in deciding whether our company is a fit for the long-term. We always strive to hire those who we think can succeed here. Thank you again for sharing your view. We wish you the very best moving forward. Sincerely, Director of HR
