Real career advancement is poor. Management and skill level positions are reserved for outside applicants. You get "typecast" into your role and not seen beyond that. Even making supervisor is a political game in which it is more important to be well-liked than proficient. I've applied for at least 4 or 5 other positions with the company and been turned down each time.
If you have any higher education or above average intelligence do not work here. You'll quickly become frustrated at the lack-there-of above you.
Benefits have gotten far worse with the implementation of the high deductible policy. You'll pay your premium and 100% of your medical costs until the high deductible is met. But I believe this is typical anywhere.
