Pros

Cons

Awful training. I was thrown in to do my job. A sink or swim kinda job. Yesterday was it for me I had my 30 day evaluation withe the supervisor that didn’t train me. She was snapping her fingers at me telling me to hurry up what’s next. The expect you to answer calls for 18 center and do 40 referrals a day. With no proper training. From May 4 to to May 30 I was watching videos. I had hands on training 4 days June 1 was thrown in to answer calls and do referrals. It’s more like processing them. There were things I wasn’t shown . So I would have to ask someone mind up they had a quota of 40 as well. So it was kinda hard to ask but 2 employees helped me as much as they could. The supervisor said yesterday that I should have been faster at 30 days. No ma’am no 30 days it was 17 days. I was so upset yesterday in her evaluation I froze. I’ve never had a supervisor snap there fingers at me and come come on your taking to long. Move move. Mind you this position is also getting authorization from the insurance company for the referral. So answering non stop calls an doing authorizations and having to do 49 referrals answer teams messages for stat referrals was to much. I quit today. Do not work for referrals unless your a robot or have 100 hands . And I had left a job I was at for 3 years to go there. Grass isn’t always greener.

Pros

free lunch and snacks, but it's not worth it

Cons

1. two major layoffs this year (January and May). the only reason they had a barely positive quarter was the two mass layoffs, then in the all hands they use the positive number as proof that the business is not struggling financially. it is struggling and there is no growth. they just reduced operation costs to make it look better this quarter. you can't fire employees forever, you're still a struggling business. 2. the main revenue source is still their video analytics business, which is shrinking every year 3. the app analytics product is a straight up failure, it only has a few customers who aren't paying much 4. they are pivoting to ai as their last hail mary, desperately rebranding to turn the company around 5. leadership will say they are "like a series a startup." meaning they expect the same level of commitment. but this is a 20 year old failing series e private company, no matter how much they try to brainwash employees to believe otherwise. they also compare themselves to nvidia, in that they are "late bloomers," never mind nvidia still had a 600 billion dollar market cap prior to the ai boom. conviva can't attract new investors and can't sell enough to stay afloat. it's a sinking ship and there is no upside to joining 6. no performance reviews this year. no salary adjustments, no promotions, no raises, no bonuses. but they did have the money to hire a few c-suite and vps. some of these are the most useless people i've met 7. the positive reviews are fake. we've had interviewees decline offers due to all the bad reviews. believe the bad reviews. there is no way in hell the positive ones are written by real employees. no one is happy, morale is as low as it gets leadership is directionless and put their trust in loud, ignorant, incompetent bootlickers. i never know if they're liars or just completely delusional. they routinely blame employees for their business failures. the truth is they are trend chasers with no vision, have genuinely bad ideas and no original thought. some teams have never shipped anything in their lives and yet are highly favored by leadership because they are "ai experts." they are not. they just mess around with ai all day, and they call that expertise. they run in circles delivering nothing, thinking they're doing something. i've had multiple disconcerting technical discussions with them and just kind of gave up. that same culture is being perpetuated throughout the company: busywork matters more than real impact and appearing busy and hardworking is more important than delivering quality. moving fast going nowhere. a real headless chicken run.
