Pros

- Casual Attire - CM finally remodeled the building - The friendships that I made with fellow employees. - Built up my resume so that I could secure a really good job.

Cons

- Dishonest, Disorganized, Understaffed - No Training - Environment created by upper management causes high levels of stress and anxiety - Unproductive weekly meetings - Extremely slow computers and internet connection along with outdated software. - All reports and tasks are given with minimal time to complete - Employees are heavily overworked and underpaid - Strong and obvious favoritism toward certain employees - Many hard-working employees are not considered valuable and their contributions are overlooked - No Upward Mobility: Upper Management will either hire from outside the company or close off the position entirely. -There are a couple of employees that are very hostile towards other employees in the office. They scream and verbally abuse coworkers. The employees are never reprimanded for this behavior and it has created a toxic working environment. - Probation or Promotion Reviews: You will be asked to rate yourself from 1-5 on multiple categories. Even if your work etiquette and dedication is excellent, management won’t rate you higher than a 3. Management believes that rating an employee a 5 is demotivational and leaves no room for improvement which is frustrating for hard working employees. I provided 4’s and 5’s for an employee’s 90 day review, management had me to resubmit it with all 3’s. - According to Upper management, the people who quit were not valuable employees, which has been said to justify the mass exodus that CM is experiencing. - Work hard and the money will come, We have big plans for you, You know you're getting a raise, right? Upper management thinks they are providing motivation by using empty promises like these. In my situation, it only caused me to be frustrated with CM after working hard for the company. -Forget the Past: Upper Management uses this statement in order to avoid acknowledgment of an employee's previous accomplishments. - This company strives on stating that all employees wear “Multiple Hats”. This means that you will be doing other work of 3 to 5 people since they are understaffed and refuse to hire. If an employee on your team quits, then prepare to take on their job responsibilities as well. -The company left me to service all customers for USA, Canada, Mexico, and South America (globally for live chat) on multiple occasions for months at a time. Upper Management could easily have a new hire within a week but would rather delay to avoid any added expense. Due to this business decision, customers were unable to be serviced efficiently and were obviously irate. - Management lied about when my promotion would go into effect multiple times, delaying it from 90 days to 1 year 3 months even though all promotion objectives were completed above company standards. -When my promotion finally became effective, the salary increase was very low compared to the amount of work I did for the company. The whole process just made me feel used and that I had completely wasted my time.

Pros

One of the best things about this company is the friendships you will build. Mainly between, sales/PM's and support team but not with some managers and upper management. The location is great because you have a wide variety of food to choose from. Don't need to know how to spell or have good grammar. See below to see what I mean. That's pretty much it.

Cons

There are many things wrong with Cooler Master. To start, Cooler Master's building is pretty run down. When you walk in the walls are stained and look like crap. The meeting room's are a major disappointment, especially if you have clients/vendors visiting. On multiple occasions, I have heard people who visit complain about the cleanliness of the rooms. The chairs, are even more crap. As a company, there should be some uniformity. One meeting room may have some crap soft chair another one will have broken office chairs, or a fold up chair. The TV at the first floor is useless. It is just for show, there is nothing shown on it, I have no idea why it is even there in the first place. The office is not even a office. There is no receptionist to greet you nor is there a real waiting area. Guests just sit on a fold up chair and stare at some of Cooler Master's past awards and achievements. The whiteboards are dirty and half of the markers available to write with don't even work! The lunch room is a major disappointment. It has no windows, a crappy vending machine that requires specific amounts of change, some are 80 cents, some are 65 cents, some are 70 cents! WHO CARRIES THAT KIND OF CHANGE!?! JUST INSTALL MACHINES THAT REQUIRE EITHER $1 or QUARTER INCREMENTS! And sometimes the vending machine fails, so you will hear some madman banging away at the vending machine in the lunch room for about 5 minutes until they get their candy bar. The warehouse is a mess, there is no real organization. Inventory is just placed everywhere and when someone has to find something, even the warehouse workers get lost sometimes. Cooler Master not only has a very disappointing work environment, but also some managers that I can never understand how the hell they even got hired in the first place. For example: on 5 occasions, I've seen emails sent out by managers that had grammar and spelling errors! Certain managers also believe that a "GOOD LEADER" tells their team to do stuff while they sit back and watch football games, or play stocks. YEAH I AM BLOWING THE LID ON THIS! For example, some managers sit at their desk, on their computer, buying stuff on Amazon or looking at their stock portfolio. Then every 10-15 minutes they would out for a smoke break, but if anyone from their team is out of his sight for less than 1 minute, they begin to time or ask where they went. Also, some managers are oblivious as how to handle their own account. On one occasion, some managers whole team was out. For those 2-3 hours, they were clueless on how to do anything for their accounts. If you cannot do everything that your own team can do, you DO NOT DESERVE TO BE A MANAGER! There is a reason why people keep leaving this company. This company does not offer commission, only some screwy bonus program that almost no one understands how it works. Moving on to employee retention, OH WAIT, THERE IS NONE! This company does not care about its employees. We are all considered expendable assets in their eyes. If you went above and beyond your usual work hours and took work home with you in order to achieve your numbers, don't bother because all it takes is some lame excuse about how you made a simple mistake, and that promotion or raise is out the door. If you leave, they won't try to make you stay. Why bother? Because they can just hire and train someone new again until they get sick of the job and then they do it all over again. It's a vicious cycle that never ends. And if you plan on saying quitting and saying goodbye to everyone, better do it quick because if upper management finds out before you get to say bye, you will never get to say it. I've seen it happen 3 times where employees said bye on the last day and when asked, they said they put their two weeks in but was forbidden to say anything to anyone. Oh and if you are going to quit, make sure to be "NICE" about it otherwise you are going to be treated like a criminal and escorted off the premises. The only thing they are missing are handcuffs and then you got yourself an episode of COPS while leaving Cooler Master. If you feel like voicing your opinion to the people in charge, nothing happens other than you are blacklisted from the company. THERE IS NO OPEN DOOR POLICY! The door is closed. Either you do things the Cooler Master way or they will show you the highway and boot you out! Now moving onto Upper Management, they constantly hold these long meetings that have no real results or actions, yet upper management will still hold these pointless meetings wasting the time of sales and then when customers complain about the delay or not being able to get something out on time, upper management will question you. They also are very disconnected to what goes on in the warehouse. The process is simple. Lack of warehouse workers means delayed orders. Delayed orders leads to pissed off customers. Pissed of customers leads to less sales and less sales leads to not enough profit. Yet, Cooler Master refuses to hire more workers but will hire someone for another department that is not urgent.

Pros

The only pro is that good employees are leaving and going to a better enterprise.

Cons

So many of this sinking boat. Starting from the bad decisions made, resulting into a new generation of manager that act in duty, but it is really just a kid without a graduation diplomas, rounded by BFF held as subordinate, all they need to do is polish the apple. As this all said, acting is what you will need to be on the best, so as the title of this review, you can imaging when the Titanic hit an iceberg where you found out that what you saw was only the chip of surface, the iceberg is actually huge. Dramatically you see people trying to jump out to save themselves. The head managers has no respect from customers, because they don'tn have guts to face them when thing goes sour. Instead they have entry levels to act as the responsable of their mess having them to deal with dragons. Gov job and thank you are nice words to receive, if in rare situations you do, but doesn't help you pay your bills, does pay the amount of efforts or the medical bills gaps that the health insurance doesn't cover. But when thing as bad, these tough questions of how to pay for company's bills and experiences goes back to you. If you are not a BFF than you are tagged to die.
