Finding the perfect employee is difficult, but finding the perfect employer is even harder. More often than not, employees find themselves in dead-end jobs with no appreciation for the work their doing, the company that they work for or even the people they work with. It’s often expected that employees find a position that can be tolerated rather than enjoyed. This is not the case with Cooper Pest Solutions. From my first day with the company, I was welcomed with open arms and immediately felt like I belonged there. Everyone greeted me with a genuine smile and welcomed me to the team. Even now, every time I enter the building, all the employees are genuinely happy to be there and doing their job. They all are so friendly to everyone and willing to help each other in any way they can. The Cooper organization is an incredible team that works together seamlessly to help achieve everyone’s personal, group and company goals. Not only do the employees showcase incredible work ethic and teamwork, but Phil Cooper has created such a positive working environment that everyone thrives off of it. From the call center representatives, to the technicians in the field, and everyone in between, everyone at Cooper knows their roles within the company and understand how vital every position is to the success of Cooper Pest Solutions. Phil makes it known that although he is the CEO, his technicians are just as important as his leadership position, neither position is more important than the other, and they must be seen equally in order to succeed. It is because everyone is performing their duties to the highest level that Cooper can and will continue to prosper. Phil also knows how important it is to reward his employees for a job well done. From receiving $5 for every “WOW” customer review to getting gift cards for technicians who haven’t had any accidents with company vehicles, as well as season tickets to sporting events, Cooper Pest Solutions rewards their employees for their hard work. All these positive perks only encourages employees to work harder and strive for more, which in return leads to even more success for Cooper. Cooper Pest Solutions truly is an incredible place to work for. I have never experience such a giving and genuinely fun, family-based atmosphere with any employer. You can easily see this at any given time by walking through Cooper’s front doors. I have to say, like most of the employees (who have been there for a number of years) I stepped in that front door and plan on not looking back. I think I can speak for most of the employees by saying that Cooper Pest Solutions is right where I was meant to be.
