Pros

The only good thing about working at the corporate office is the stand up desks and ability to dress casual.

Cons

This company is full of men with egos! Women get no respect and senior leadership knows it and does nothing about it. The IT department has totally revamped and removed women and people who are not of Indian decent. Top managers are so out of tune they think it is a good idea to build a ranch and make people go to meetings on their weekends - and that bringing their family to enjoy the nature makes it all okay.... avoid this company like the plague. They are involved in so many things and they cannot decide a strategic direction if their life depended on it. Companies that try to be everything to everyone end up doing nnothing well and this is an excellent example. I tried discussing my concerns with HR but they are just pawns for senior management and are afraid of their own shadows.

Pros

The CEO is a very nice man, but he doesn't know how shady his employees are.

Cons

I am pregnant, in order to save mine and my child's life I have had to have 2 EMERGENCY surgeries. While I was working at copart is when these surgeries occurred, I had doctors notes and kept in contact with my boss daily to keep him updated on my return. Let me reinstate, I could have died or my baby Could have died if I didn't not get these surgeries. The day of my return from my second surgery, I was fired. At 4 months pregnant, had just been through hell, and I was fired. I then applied for unemployment and was approved since the state found that copart did not have a good reason to fire me, in total they would end up paying me around 5000 in unemployment, but instead of wanting to cough up the measly 5000 out of thier fat wallets, they are appealing my unemployment with the state. me and my husband and son are now having to move because we can't afford our house, no one will hire me because I'm pregnant, we are constantly worried about putting food on the table, copart has destroyed a family and they can't even pay me unemployment for a few months? Thanks copart for making this pregnancy even harder than it has been.
