They tell you the negatives they're comfortable with but..
Pros
the only pro is that there are a few salesmen like Clay and Ed who are genuinely good people. A few meaning maybe 5 out of 35
Cons
Management will verbally harass you rather than try to help you improve. Those that don't actively harass you stay silent. Mark the used-car sales manager only smiles when he has someone to be the butt of his corny joke. Typical high-school bully all grown up and made of McDonalds. Another manager made a joke about "snapping me in half like a twig." and went silent when I told him that I'd overheard what he said. The base salary comes out to $12 an hour and they don't provide leads for you after you've failed to sell a car for several days. Some reviews here are bashing Greg, but he's the only sales manager that's been respectful in the entire month I've worked here. No lead rotation on fresh-ups or phone-ups. They are given to the people who sell, okay. So you will have 0 people sit at your desk in a day while the guy next to you who's been there for 3 years gets 7 customers. Don't ask questions to management unless you want to be ridiculed and told you've given no effort to following the process. They'll nitpick you over arbitrary questions that people who've been there for years can't answer perfectly just to make you feel like you don't know anything. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DO NOT BENEFIT THESE CRAVEN OLD FOOLS. You make a penny while they make a dollar belittling you. No HR or TOYOTA resources will come in to the store and review your case against the manager either, because these guys protect themselves from Toyota by operating under "Corwin" Toyota, a separate and private entity. Absolutely the least moral dealership I've interacted with. They even had someone put a fake 5-star review 1 DAY after I argued with a manager and brought up our terrible glassdoor reviews. That 1, 5-star? It's fake.
