Pros
Sometimes they give you free food.
Cons
Alright so I worked at Costa Vida for about 3 months. I have a regular job that pays well unfortunately uncle Sam gave me a big bill at the end of the year, so i decided it would get a second job to supplement the income. First off Managers: They had like 5 of them, and they where all friends (pretty sure half of them live together) so if you could imagine lots of drama in the work place. Because they where so buddy buddy with each other nobody accepted responsibility and all had a really immature attitude towards everything I also feel that the only reason why some people where in those positions is because they where friends perhaps Im wrong, but then again i had a closing manager walk out of a shift for 3 hours on the dinner rush, and his excuse was "i laid down at home to long because i was tired" if that doesn't say privileged i don't know what does. Another thing about that place is that the main manager talks down to you a lot. I've been in and out of the food industry for 4 years and haven't received the amount of disrespect that guy gave me, kinda talked to me like i was a peasant and he was riding a white horse through Uganda. Please don't let my personal Experience discourage you from pursing a job here, you wouldn't want to miss out on what they call "coasting the vida" .
