Pros

- Coty spends a lot of money on impressive office building locations. - Many brands, therefore huge benefits at Staff Sales. - Some global leaders originally from the company that merged seem good and pretty inspiring but no such mentors in Australia office.

Cons

You will hear that Coty is a top 3 beauty company after the merger with P&G but the truth is, unfortunately, that this all wasn't planned well and Coty management have no idea what they are doing. -Unqualified managers were bumped up to higher positions for being in the right place at the right time with no concept and apparently no training on how to manage, train or treat and speak to their employees with respect. - No-one is happy or feels valued, junior staff remain due to the need for experience and doing time in their role and love the idea of being at a 'Beauty Company' but suppress their feelings of despair. - Head of marketing not competent in role and intentionally oblivious that they are the long-running source of many issues due to some kind of divine protection from CEO. - "Bully" hierarchical mentality from certain managers. - HR cruise around smiling but it's all smoke and mirrors as they don't seem to actually have best interest of staff in mind. Trying hard to appear more present now that complaints are spreading but no action. - interview process was unprofessional. Best to avoid this company if you are expecting to learn and grow. Too volatile since merger.

Bonus structure was great but has been scrapped for most new employees and is now only based on company performance, strong brands

Cons

Merger managed terribly, HR is non existent, complete lack of culture, top management is out of touch with all other employees

Pros

Multinational company with big growth potential due to integration with P&G Beauty. Excellent work-life balance and friendly colleagues. Free products -- perfumes, beauty products.

Cons

Some jobs are currently being outsourced to Asian countries . Simplification of processes are still being pursued. a lot of manual processes which should be automated by technology.
