Pros
I like it here. Because it is a smaller company, I am close with my colleagues and can get involved in many things. In Claims, there is no shortage of opportunity, support (and work, if you don't like be bored!!). Almost all of the managers have open-door policies and the environment is generally relaxed if you get the work done and keep managers posted. The job feels stable and the company has grown quite a bit. My coworkers are friendly and mostly from the five boroughs, so I feel like I have a second family. It is very convenient to the major subways, and the downtown area is starting to become more social after-hours. Great work-life balance, America and Family-first kind of place.
Cons
This is still a "Main Street" company despite the Wall Street address. I happen to like this, but you have to appreciate all the above "Pros" as a trade-off for slightly lower pay. The gap closes the longer you stay on. Since the company tries to keep everything at 40 Wall Street, a Trump Building, you can also expect some challenges getting into and out of the office sometimes if there are protestors or additional security. Plus, as someone else mentioned, the elevators are quite sloooow.
