      Pros

      Busy work is always there-never bored. Good benefits for fulltime employees.

      Cons

      pressure is always there to do better. Never complimented always told what to improve, since it is never good enough.

      Pros

      The hours are wide, so you can work when you need to. Willing to work with you.

      Cons

      No lunch break, a stright 8 hour shift, 2 15 paid breaks. Long days on feet. Pay is only min wage and never 40 hours a week unless needed. Will have you working till 10:30 at night only to come in a 6 am the next morning.

      Good Job...until the Buy Out

      Pros

      I worked for Covington Foods, one of the minority County Market holders. The management overall was pretty good, the work environment was friendly, and it was overall a good first job. I worked in the Dairy/Frozen department so it was pretty low maintenance and out of the public eye.

      Cons

      There was one particular manager who was just awful. He would tell us to do one thing and then basically sit there and watch without ever helping, and then complain if we weren't able to get it done in time. Just an awful manager, plus the management really picked favorites and you knew it. Also, Covington Foods was recently bought out by the more impersonal big business Neiman Foods, which will probably cause a lot of the management to quit due to hating Neiman so much.
