Pros

Good pay and benefits considering the work.

Cons

This job literally made me want to kill myself. They pay you just enough to keep you trapped. If you do read this review and decide to work their I'll give you a couple tips. 1. Profess your unbound passion to ending porn. More than anything else, Covenant Eyes loves anyone who shares their passion to ending porn. If this is not something you are passionate about, don't waste your time here. Even if you are passionate about making Covenant Eyes a successful business, or being an outstanding employee, that doesn't matter. All that matters is your passion for ending porn. 2. Admit your own personal struggles with porn. This is another thing they love. Give it a shot if you are working there and I promise they are gonna really love you. 3. Talk about how much you love Covenant Eyes and their mission (Seeing a theme here?) 4. Be a yes person. Management does NOT like it when you question their discussions, especially middle managers (the ones right above customer support.) If you want to go far here, don't question anything, or they will put you on a list and it will be hell. 5. Be a girl. I Don't know why but they seem to love women employees, I think its because they are more agreeable and easier to mold to their desires. Either way, there is preferential treatment towards women. I wish I was joking but I'm not. This has actually hurt employees. 6. Go to their church It's kind of like a cult there, if you want to move up, join their church. 7. If all else fails, leave, and be quick about it. This company has decent pay and benefits for the work, I will give it that, but it can be a trap. Their pay and benefits are not worth living in hell. Why don't I recommend Covenant Eyes? I poured my heart out at that company and they stomped all over me. Why? Because I wasn't the above. I have never felt more low, and less valued as human being than I did while working at Covenant Eyes. I know many people love it there, and that's great for them. Unfortunately for me it was literal hell. I hope they can change. Thanks for reading my review.

Toxicity disguised as sprinkles on ice cream

Pros

Good work life balance as you can fluff off and not do your job and nobody notices because so many of the jobs are useless and the managers don’t care. Once open a time there many pros. Culture was great, company was mission driven. CE is past its glory days and unless drastic change happens fast, CE won’t exist much longer.

Cons

Sexism and nepotism run rampant. People are promoted because they have a pedigree or they are yes men. Talent, love for the mission and dedication are irrelevant when it comes to promotions. The company goes against its own mission statement daily and wonders why they are struggling to keep customers and good employees. Resources, money and talent are squandered on shiny bells and whistles customers don’t want or need, while the products’ usefulness and reputation rapidly decline because it hasn’t kept up with technology. The product no longer works but fixing it isn’t on the radar. Instead of doing the necessary but hard task of making the product do what it says, the company decides to gaslight its employees and customers that what they really want is the bells and whistles that won’t help the people paying for the service. Marriages and being destroyed, kids getting addicted and people losing their very souls but that seems lost on the company now.

Before you take these overtly positive reviews to heart…

Pros

Pay is ok, but not worth it for the issues you deal with. Also the CEO is excellent. Most of the other VPs are varying levels of “ok” and “bad”.

Cons

The review below discussing the steps to consider before working at this place is 100% truthful. I can’t think of a better way to sum up my time with this company. I don’t think my mental health was ever at as low a point as it was whilst employeed here. Also- the HR recruiter has specifically asked in the “ All Employee Meetings” that employees get on Glassdoor and leave positive feedback, so take these overtly positive reviews with a grain of salt.
