Pros

Amazing Coworkers (excluding anyone in management or upper management) Somewhat Flexible Schedule Typical Business Hours

Cons

Low Pay Although typical hours, the workload is for that of 2-3 people put on one person No Overtime Understaffed No Plans to Fix Staffing Issues Expensive Benefits No Job Description (for anyone) High Job Turnover Rate Personal Note: This place broke my spirit and heart. I came into the mental health field with big eyes and heart and this place crushed it. They used me by forcing me into different roles by giving me no choice. You either move or get fired. Same with additional tasks, every week, there is something new added to your plate because someone has either been fired, let go of, or quit. Future employees beware, if you are going to work here prepare for long, hard mental health days, and no support from upper management. The team you work with will have your heart but it’s not worth the daily stress and tears.

Potential to be a great place to work

Pros

Some co-workers were supportive of each other and it was nice to have some coworkers to office relationships with. If you're in the right position that is respected in the company, they will make you feel valued. It's a company that is growing fast and has a lot of great plans for the future.

Cons

There was always a lack of communication from management. Never much positive reinforcementunderstand the importance of empathy. A lot of focus was always spent on productivity numbers, and supervisors lacked the trait of 'empathy', and wouldn't take the time listen to employees and understand where they are coming from if productivity lacked. The health benefits were REALLY expensive for the size of the company. Only 40 hours of PTO role over into the next year. With BHIS positions, the hours worked is between 9am and 10pm, no set schedule, a lot of driving and no mileage reimbursement. (some BHIS employees would drive up to 45 minutes one way for one client) The company is fluid in the fact that supervisors and positions were always changing, and seemed like they would 'let people go' quite often.

Pros

My co-workers (pretty much the only reason I stayed for as long as I did), Training Stipend, Better starting pay for new graduates, Opportunity for growth

Cons

Long hours without support, 2-3 person job on your shoulders with no compensation, Only seem to care about money, ZERO communication, No offboarding, Earning Time Off as Commission is impossible, No paid holidays for Commission (we should "make enough money" for holidays - mgmt), Low Paying, Will be written up for low production numbers, Do not seem to care about Diversity/Inclusion
