A lot of talking about diversity, inclusion, professional development, open discussions, fair treatment and equal ability to participate in product development.
In reality:
- managerial and tech roles are held primarily by men, content and people ops by women
- promotions or any additional responsibilities are unlikely regardless your skills or experience if you have any issues with management of any level
- the company struggles to keep it's employees longer then 1-2 years and have set to hire a lot of students for lower pay in place of experienced people that left
- many new positions opened with rapid company growth, all of them were filled with people from outside (no promotions). in general, the management is not interested in investing in its own employees
- the company rarely takes into consideration any suggestions for product development if there is no immediate profit or new clients from it
