Avoid at all costs, even if the money seems okay.

Pros

Money is okay for entry level

Cons

Awful leadership, no direction for processes, a lot of pointing with the finger instead of the thumb, too much micromanagement, leadership scoffs at feedback even though they claim to listen to it, no sense of spreading workload, doesn't use any mainstream development methodologies like Agile/Scrum (development works on what they feel like, resulting in a lot of features that are unneeded or half-baked features on platforms), lots of firings and turnovers, refuse to give raises when deserved, no sense of responsibility from leadership when clients want to cancel, takes way too long to get assistance from coworkers, many many more cons

Just Okay Place to Work if Changes are Made

Pros

Flexibility to work remote or in office, free lunch weekly, occasional employee outings, good health benefits

Cons

Lack of direction from leadership, tons of turnover, company culture just doesn’t exist outside of professional work-related talk, understaffed in several departments because of turnover, difficult to get timely responses from coworkers. Difficult to work with other departments. Non-constructive criticism, not enough opportunities for team building. Company relies heavily on sales dept and they’re the most toxic group to try to work with (if you get a response). Too difficult to get work done without direction from leadership , support from coworkers, collaboration with other departments.

Pros

Free lunch on Wednesdays was great. The product has the ability to help the hospitality industry.

Cons

The work environment was notably unprofessional and discouraging. There was a constant undercurrent of drama, gossip, and rumors that made it feel like high school. Professional growth seemed to be nonexistent, with departments working in complete isolation from one another. Craftable has not prioritized Customer Success, and this is not a company I would recommend for any CSM seeking career advancement. The team largely consists of individuals with backgrounds in the hospitality industry, which provides some great insight into the customers ecosystem but lacks depth in SaaS, tech, and Customer Success frameworks. While the product has potential to benefit the hospitality industry, it was frequently criticized by customers for being overly complicated and difficult to navigate. Unfortunately, everyone I spoke to seemed at least somewhat dissatisfied with working there. Team meetings were often filled with complaints, and Slack messages were full of harsh criticism directed at other team members and departments.

Thank you for taking the time to share such candid feedback. We’re truly sorry that your experience at Craftable didn’t reflect the culture we strive for. A workplace that feels unprofessional or discouraging is not acceptable, and we take that to heart. You highlighted something important—our deep hospitality roots are a strength, but without the right structure, even the best intentions can fall short. That insight helped drive real change. Since early 2025, under the leadership of our new CEO, David Cantu, we’ve redefined our Mission, Values, and leadership approach to ensure every department feels supported and connected. We’ve built new leadership across Customer Success, Operations, and People to create clarity, career growth, and collaboration. We also launched our Craftable Culture Crew—a team dedicated to building an inclusive, empowered workplace where everyone feels seen, heard, and equipped to do their best work. Your feedback played a part in shaping these changes, and we’re grateful for that honesty. Craftable is evolving fast, and while we can’t rewrite the past, we’re committed to building a company that reflects the professionalism, unity, and purpose our team deserves.
