terrible management

Pros

the schedule is nice: mon-fri, little to no overtime for non clinicians. pto is available but not easy to take and sick and vacation hours are combined. tempe/beck (corporate office) are really nice and easy to work with as are employees from other clinics.

Cons

clinic i was at was a terrible place to work. there is no guidance, advice if asked for is contradictory and follow through is lacking. the only time anything negative is brought to your attention is during your review when you are up for a raise. in the over 3.5 years that I've been here, I'm the 8th person to leave this position, and 11th person to leave this office (3 of us left in one week). common factor and complaint is the ineptitude of management.

FAKE REVIEWS! Horrible company. Run Away!!!!

Pros

If you like drama, lies, mean coworkers, and disrespectful and ignorant management then this is the place for you!

Cons

The company was sold (again) and it was all down hill from there. Our CEO and VP left, loyal employees of 10+ years left, the company became more about sales and profit than legitimate medical practices. The clinics and sales reps bonus off of how many children go into a band, so the integrity of the company is out the window and pretty much every baby is told they need treatment because they all want to get paid. Management knows NOTHING about what really goes on in the office. Favoritism and a lack of people skills and basic common respect is the disease all management and HR are infected with at the Tempe office. Its not how well you do your job or what you know, its WHO you know. There's one manager who's a descent human being, but for some reason she allows the manager and supervisor below her to treat the office like a sorority. Extremely unprofessional place to work. Not one day goes by where you don't find someone crying at their cube, in the break room, or in the bathroom. All the good reviews you see here are made from the few select 5-7 employees that management has in their pocket. Everything about this company is fake, including the good reviews. AND the woman they have listed on this website and all others as their CEO hasn't been involved in the company for 10-15 YEARS at least! We've had TWO other CEOs since her. But the company never admits that, because they don't want the public to know that we have been SOLD twice, and we are now about profit only. Like I said, FAKE. We're understaffed, underpaid, and underappreciated. The clinics, sales reps, and upper management all have incredible salaries and bonuses. But the non-management and non-clinical staff deserve WAY more. We have no bonuses, and if you've been a loyal employee for years, you're probably making WAY less than the new employee with WAY less experience and knowledge than you. The only pay increase you'll see is a 15-25 cent raise every January. What a slap in the face. Corporate can not see that without the everyday man (schedulers, insurance, billing, claims, image processing, ect) this company wouldn't exist. If upper management and HR spent one full week in our shoes, not one of them would be able to make it out alive. From the outside everything looks great, like you're really going to make a difference in babies lives. But don't drink the koolaid. Its a nightmare disguised like a dream job. How many employees have to quit for someone to open their eyes and listen? How many employees have to cry on a daily basis? What started as a dream job years ago has turned into the worst company I've ever worked for and one of my biggest regrets of my life making the choice to work here. I wish I wasn't trapped, trust me I wish more than anything I could leave.

Pros

It was close to home. The babies were fun to work with, and the parents were typically decent.

Cons

I worked for Cranial Technologies for almost a year and a half. Not to sound dramatic, but it was literally the worst job I have ever had in my life. I love kids, and I love working with people. The manager was awful. I started with another girl and we trained together and worked together. We were new so mistakes would sometimes occur. We were brought into the manager's office where we were told that we were "causing the company to crumble". That was the first incident of her harshness. Another incident was during a meeting where she requested that during downtime we get down on our hands and knees to scrub the baseboards. Pardon me? I did not know I was auditioning for a role in the movie "The Help". We were floored. It never happened-we continued to allow the janitorial service the pleasure of scrubbing baseboards. Often times, employees ended up in tears because of her mean and unwelcoming attitude. When HR found out about Glassdoor, every clinic had their monthly meeting with "GlassDoor" bulleted as part of the meeting agenda. Management subtly hinted that we give a positive review on the site. All of the positive reviews about this company are from management. When visiting clinicians came to the clinic, they often mentioned how uncomfortable it was because of this manager. Stay away from this company!!!!!
