Pros

The Rochester site is amazing and has some great employees. Unfortunately Corporate Creation is ruining it.

Cons

Corporate Creation does not care about their employees. Creations model is “no progressive discipline”. I was an HRG for over a year and throughout the year we “reduced our workforce significantly, just to turn around a rehire someone new to fill the spot. Total rewards: Dental plan is not in network with any dentists in the greater Rochester ares. Continuously getting false information for the total rewards team. Employees were putting money into their HSA’s but the company was not depositing it. This went on for 3 month into 2023 and was only corrected after numerous pushes by the Rochester HR team. New hires were not given the opportunity to participate in 401k as they should have because the “file feed” was broken. This was on-going from July 2022- March 2023, even after pushing the issue. Quarterly Bonus Plan has had errors the 2 quarters we were apart of it. The TR team has no sense of urgency. They will never take ownership on their mistakes. Company policies: Creation does not provide policies to their sites. They have a very generic handbook and when our team of HR professionals asked for site specific policies, we were given attitude. The regional and corporate leadership will talk down to you, swear at you in meetings and belittle you to no end. Although I understand the workplace can get frustrating, belittling someone is not the way to get things done. Currently - the Rochester site has no HR on site because it has been proven time and time again that Creation is not a company with ethics. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WORKING THERE!

Pros

I worked at the Newark location. Aside from the GM, there is a rather large group of up and coming leaders who care very much about the success of the location and their people.

Cons

Total Rewards - poor benefits and inconsistent execution. Constant issues with HSA account and 401k. They would deduct funds from your account and then not pay them into your HSA or 401k. Polices - Loose policies with no real direction/communication on policies and procedures. Culture - Terrible culture that stems from the top down. Executive leadership team, regional leaders, and VP/director level roles do not treat employees with respect. They are driving good leaders out the door. Turnover - Extremely high turnover for key leadership roles to include Human Resources. THIS IS A HUGE RED FLAG. Job Security- large number of lay offs and exits. With so many opportunities for employment out there, I would put Creation Technologies at the bottom of your list.
