Pros

to earn the money needed

Cons

always understaffed at all outlets, underpaid, people working there are not that nice, and the owners only care about earning the money but do not care about how understaffed the outlets are.

Pros

Freedom to work as long as completed

Cons

No proper training and management does whatever they want. If you need help or guidance you're on your own. But if you make mistakes then they will reprimand you even though no one is there to help you or guide you. They will call you on your off days or if you're on leave. You're expected to reply messages and calls 24/7 even the bosses will call you at 5am in the morning. They will get upset if you don't answer your phone when you are on leave.

Pros

Tbh, maybe it's a good stepping stone. Exposure to different environment which also means you have to do alot of things.

Cons

If you are in HQ, working overtime is a norm (till crazy hours) If you are in operations or chef at senoko, even if you are of a management role, but the things you do are like anyone. They give you management role so that you won't be able to claim OT. working non stop and boss don't even know/don't bother if you have any break or off days. I've also witness operation not going off for more than 3 weeks. They are already doing this against MOM regulation. If you are in sales, you will have a manager whom does not care about your mental health. Be it off days or AL. You will sure be disturb and require to response to them. If not they will keep on chasing and don't respect your time. I have witness restaurant sales not being able to have Off days for 1-2 months and there's no one stepping in to help. How insane is that, can't off for close to 2 months. It's worse than maids where they still can have off days. In restaurants, if you are full timer, you will only have limited staffs during peak hours. You will be paid poorly for the OT hours. They do not have a system to retain staff or staff benefit. They do not bother staff mental wellness! They just need staff to earn money for them PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. EVERYTHING WILL BE PAINT BEAUTIFULLY OVER CONVERSATION, BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY. YOU ARE DEALING THE DIRTY AND UGLY WORK YOURSELF.
