Pros

Career going no where ? Great place to join. Specially if you are average and just made it to IIT or other top institutes , never mind poor academics and other track record. Get a fancy designation and salary. Leadership is young , growth till now was phenomenal though on small base. So very little accountability and you can try all the foolish ideas you come up with.

Cons

Belief is to grow we need to hire. In process there is indiscriminate hiring. For every 10 hires in my view 7 are disaster , 2 average and 1 good. I know 1 good is silver lining and norm. But for the kind of money we giving, its a shame. Also the disaster guys thinks they are great and arrogant. This will all lead to bad politics in 2 years. Come on, you do not hire a C level who has changed jobs every one to two years and entrust him with culture building or organiational development. He will have no clue on how a critical decision taken pans out in long term ( 2 to 5 years) vis a vis culture building. For those who have great track record in career and academic, this place is disaster. So if you topped your college - got into top consult or ibank or fund, best avoided. I am ambitious with my career and want every job change to count. So want to say long. But that will mean doing things which are frivolous and do not make me great. I was warned by bunch of folks who had poor experience in other start ups with young founder, so did lot of due diligence. The company was profitable as of March 2021 on a small revenue of 5.5 crore or so. That was so rare. So thought huge equity upside and huge hike. I doubt I can get that given the existing valuation means no appreciation till company grows to 80 crores. That is a tall order given that we operate in single vertical which incumbent players in loan origination can easily cater to . In short a great a place for a average joe but not for a good one who is thinking long term career. And HR folks or who so ever is trying to up the rating on glassdoor - for heavens sake it is so obvious. Become mature. When you run organisations there will always be bad apples who write negative. Smart prospective employees know it. When you try to cover it up , that is when doubts are raised

Pros

Good team members & Ok managers

Cons

No benefits - poor insurance, poor tax benefits, 0 facilities, less salary & nothing on the top of it. No gifts, no lunches, no cabs, no expense reimbursements Toxic management - for the same point, PM , CSM, Support, sales , your manager & then founder discuss with you & that too seperately. I dont why they tallk to each other. You have to understand the 1 linear requirement & make sure there is no gap otherwise founder will blame manager that why I am not asking questions & for that they will not see that i dont have the time. Very pathetic situation for us. nobody wants to work & eventually its become the responsiblity of the person who did that. If it is right then everyone founder, sales, csm , product, managers will take the credit & if there is a mistake then the person who did the task will be blamed & no one will understand the reason behind it. anyways its ok to get the blame or overloaded but atleast we should be compensated good.

Pros

The material benefits which heavily funded starts ups provide. Also as the product market fit was achieved fast . So high confidence environment (though I find it bordering on arrogant)

Cons

Everyone busy being busy. Missing focus as an organization means less is achieved. Too small and too young, politics already here. Many are bordering on arrogance despite knowing little. Original team is great though but handful. Consistency missing. I was told enough money for 7 years , then 8 years and yesterday it became 4 years.
