Pros

The pay is good for what you do there.

Cons

Toxic. They do not know how to talk to people in a respectful way. The culture is focused on discipline at the expense of efficiency and productivity. If you bring up a concern that effects production, you will most likely be mocked and ignored. And when that concern becomes a problem, you will be yelled at for it. Flattery and will let you get away withmost everything at the expense of everyone else, but if you simply do your job and forget to bow, they will target you. The environment is like a bully and they like to remind everyone that union employees are seperate from management and that we are not on the same team. Some people are handpicked based on whether or not they share the same toxic philosophy and overall disrespect for most employees. Problems all over the shop are covered up or ignored making the work environment much more difficult than it should be. You will be moved to other areas not because help is needed there but because they want to get people "worked up". They will hide and watch you work, waiting for a reason to write you up. And if you smile, you will be targeted. Inventory is an absolute disaster and they refuse to address it.
