Pay is a serious joke for the volume of work you are responsible for in an 8 hour period
There is no teamwork at the front desk position and you are often expected to work completely solo, management expects you to handle up to 300 demanding, pompous residents alone on your shift
Management will not provide you with a set schedule, making it impossible for you to have work-life balance or go to school, and they will change your schedule, hours, days off etc, without notice expecting immediate compliance
The medical/health benefits they offer as the one and only option are sub-par to say the least
This company has a strong foundational focus on DEI hiring practices, excluding other people from advancement &/or promotions
They owners keep the A/C on all year long so when its super windy in Los Angeles and 40 degrees out in winter, you will be expected to work all day with cold A/C from the ceiling above blowing on top of you, residents have even complained but the owners don't care
There is absolutely no structure at the front desk reception and you will be overwhelmed with guests, maintenance crew, and housekeepers coming in all day in addition to the over 300 residents you are responsible for accommodating independently
There are no incentives to do a good job other than if you can convince a resident to write a good yelp review in your favor
