Pros

Working at CRC was one of the best decisions I ever made. This was an opportunity I accepted straight out of college which enabled me to learn valuable skills and contribute to a goal that I could be proud of: screening candidates that would work with vulnerable populations. The benefits are competitive and the option to work from home allows for flexibility, such as the ability to go to doctor's appointments where needed and make up the time. There are plenty of fun company outings as well, such as sporting events and company luncheons. In my experience, the leadership team invested time and resources to promoting professional growth for myself and many of my colleagues. By the time I left, I had multiple industry certifications and had learned skills that I was able to transfer to my next job with great success. In my opinion, this is a place where you will get out of it what you put into it: Volunteer for high impact projects, communicate realistic goals with your manager, and be reliable.

Cons

This job is not all perks of course as no job ever is. There are periods where overtime is expected (though rarely mandatory). You will also wear many hats due to the nature of working at a small business, which some may see as a negative. This job may not be for you if you are not the type of person who'd find enjoyment in researching and reporting court records for an 8 - 9 hr period each day, you're not bought into the company mission, or you're easily distracted while working from home. The rigorous metrics set are monitored and management will provide open and honest feedback if you are not meeting your expectations. Some reviews below mention the pay as being lower than average for the area. I don't think that's a CRC problem as much as it's one with the industry as a whole; CRC's job postings were competitive with other screening providers during my time there and this contributed to my decision to switch industries.

Pros

WFH, No weekends, and that’s it!

Cons

Terrible manager! She was always negative when dealing with her. After meeting with her for the last time I resigned because I could no longer stomach her attitude. Although, our team lead tried and I actually liked her she was under the other lady and couldn’t do much about the mistreatment. This was the first time I ever left a job with no other job lined up. This place will bring out the worse in your mental health.
