      Pros

      An amazing company for those with a technical mind. Latest tech and plenty of investment into some staff members. Great work life balance and comprehensive package.

      Cons

      If your face doesn't fit with the CEO, you don't have a chance; warm to those he likes, and straight up rude to those he doesn't and in a small company everyone knows who the target is. A lot of talk about values without meaning, although no worse than most businesses.

      The long list of missed opportunities

      Pros

      The people are really nice and supportive. On paper, the company looks interesting and full of potential. If you can stay out of the CEO’s way, you might enjoy working here.

      Cons

      You’re encouraged to take risks and try new things to improve the product ( it really needs to), but in reality, your ideas only move forward if you are lucky and they match the CEO’s very rigid, specific views. Some kind of vision would be useful, but instead, he’s all around, his communication style, often sarcastic or dismissive, creates a culture that supports only his voice. No growth. Zero in and out.

      Pros

      Smart team members who support you and help you grow. The company respects your work-life balance and is very accommodating (.e.g company card, flexible schedule, learning opportunities via personal development days).

      Cons

      The company has potential, but the CEO is its biggest drawback. While he is undeniably smart, he lacks emotional intelligence and fairness. He also tends to gatekeep crucial information, making it difficult to succeed in your role. If the CEO does not like you, your best bet is to leave as trying to succeed will be a long road of obstacles put in your way.
