      Great work - Needs better management

      Pros

      Great work for God's glory. Good work / life balance. Nice people overall. The President has the right vision and attitude.

      Cons

      Hypocrisy runs rampant here. The President is loyal to his management team to a fault. VP of Dev is embarrassing and typically inappropriate. The HR manager is probably one of the rudest people I have ever met.

      Pros

      Working in a warm south Florida weather, although the area can be scary at times. Nice to be able to spend the first hour of your work day doing a devotional. Benefits are good.

      Cons

      Hiring process is lengthy and some positions take forever to fill. A new member in Finance leadership was hired and is usually very unprofessional and inappropriate with the female staff. HR is not responsive to complaints and typically looks the other way.

      Pros

      The organization/president is great. They do good for a lot of people, generous with both the people they help and the staff. Great benefits, mostly friendly staff, decent pay.

      Cons

      My direct supervisor was a micro-manager to an extreme and verbally abusive when things didn't go her way. She made a point to publicly humiliate employees when they made mistakes, and was basically a bully. The turnover in that department was alarming, yet management never did anything. Overall the company is very outdated in their approach, marketing, media, and branding.
