Impossible to Get a Substantial Raise

Pros

The company has a great culture. Everyone is very kind. Managers are supportive and allow most employees to have a flexible schedule. The company does a good job of understanding that an employee's personal life is more important than their professional life. Crown does a very good job of supporting employees who have kids.

Cons

The company provides all employees a merit based raised every year, usually 3-5%. The raise is non-negotiable; If you request more, you will be denied. If you ask for a raise at any point in the year, you will be denied. Instead of a Christmas bonus, the company gives you a little box of treats and let's you pick a free item from the company store, such as a shirt or a backpack.

Pros

Strong exposure to technical components and industrial systems. Good opportunities to build cross‑functional skills (mechanical, logistics, operations). Fast‑paced environment that develops problem‑solving and accuracy. Supportive for people studying part‑time while working. Stable workload with clear processes and structure.

Cons

Fast‑paced environment can lead to high workload and pressure. Technical tasks often require quick turnaround with limited information. Processes can feel rigid due to reliance on SAP and structured workflows. Work can be repetitive when dealing with similar components or specifications.
