Gives you the opportunity to make connections with builders and high-profile individuals in the industry which may lead (and often does) to better opportunities.
Cons
Pay could be a lot higher, gas reimbursement is only $10 per day unless you drive over 50 miles which isn't much, and the job sites are often far from home.
Expect more than one person can handle, then chastise you for not keeping up. Will not give the help or resources necessary to be successful, even when repeatedly asked for. They make rash decisions and regret it later. Very poorly managed, and HR is a complete joke.
