Pros
There are a lot of great people that you get to work with that have the same interests as yourself. Having the opportunity to help develop the products around a variety of licenses is very rewarding and exciting to see all of it come to life. Can't forget the freebies! Great office location too.
Cons
Only a bare basic 2 weeks of vacation with the week of Christmas and new year you don’t have off so it leads you to use those personal vacation days to spend with family, minimum wage salaries, then they are getting rid of work from home setup. Insurance you still have to pay for continues to rise every year with high co-pays. No Raises! which makes it harder to earn a living, so in the end you cant afford the insurance the company gives you because you still have to pay a good chunk of your very low minimum wage salary towards that. Very unrealistic! There is a major lack of communication between people and departments sometimes you don't know what is going on making your work harder. the office is nice but disorganized and a mess with boxes surrounding you with the potential of someone tripping over them and getting hurt. The company lacks inclusion defiantly reminds you of a college fraternity where “FAVORTISM” takes place. The sales team are the ownership's favorites with some in other departments as well. That favoritism leads ownership/upper management to decide who gets those opportunities or even incentives for career growth, assignments, and salary increases. As well having layoffs seem to be common practice if they are struggling a bit. Being there for a fair number of years; I was laid off twice and seems like the people they decide to lay off aren’t in their favorite list! And a couple of months later hiring people in the same roles they laid off the previous people in. You are differently set up to fail here if you are not “buddy-buddy” with the owners. Ownership seems like they only value the options and ideas of those who they deem “favorites”. If you give an idea to them it will just go in one ear and out the other but if one of those "favorites” have the same idea they show more enthusiasm and willingness to use those ideas. Ownership defiantly doesn’t seem like they appreciate or are considerate of employees.
