Pros

The pay was o.k. The job was close to my house. They had continuous training that was good. It was steady employment.

Cons

They talked about their core values. Integrity, respect, and learning. Learning was done. The other two were out the door. The arrogance of some of the people and their disrespect of others were common daily events. The pace of work was always frantic without concern of the employee. They were only concerned with the monthly numbers so that they could pat themselves on the back. What a sad case of events.

Pros

Pleasant working conditions, nice vacation policy for new hires , helps with medical expenses if you get your yearly physical. Fellow employees are conscientious , friendly and always willing to help.

Cons

Don't expect a raise, good review and a record sales year , watch what they call your - compa ratio -- That's the divisor factored into your raise, that number increases yearly so your raise decreases. Money is tight for capital improvements

Good company, little opportunity to advance

Pros

Curbell is a large company, but not to the point where you are viewed as just another body filling a position. People at the corporate office know who the sales reps are at all of the remote branches, and your success does not go unnoticed.

Cons

Opportunities to advance in the company are few and far between. There's no specific career development plan, and they don't give you any set stipulations/goals that you have to meet in order to advance in the company. They tell you to just "grow sales in your territory, and you'll have a successful career with the company..."
