Pros

Medical benefits but they work like a dog just to get them.

Cons

Management doesnt listen to staff. All this company cares about is money. The treat their staff horrible. They allow their staff to be abused by the public because they value the money more than there wellness of the staff.

Pros

Curio delivers quality products and focuses on providing for consumers.

Cons

They will reel you in with false promises of amazing benefits, work life balance, and so much more but do not listen. The benefits are okay, but not as good as hyped up to be. Overtime is forced CONSTANTLY, and if you like holidays off, get ready for 10 hour days for the rest of the week because “there’s so much that needs done”, god forbid a holiday disrupts their productivity. Not to mention incentive bonuses not being paid when earned or pay raises not going into effect after promotions, all because HR doesn’t know what they’re doing whatsoever. I could go on forever, but in conclusion, avoid this place if you value your sanity.

Pros

Curio Wellness has built a strong, premium brand and maintains solid market share in a competitive space. The company has talented, passionate front-line employees and genuinely high-quality products that stand out in the Maryland market. You’ll also gain valuable experience navigating a fast-moving, regulated industry.

Cons

The company’s biggest weakness is its leadership culture. It’s a family-run business where decision-making is centralized and often driven by reaction and emotion rather than strategy. The environment can feel litigious, reactive, and self-interested, with little empathy or accountability at the top. It’s a classic “yes-man” culture - those who question direction or propose alternate perspectives often find themselves sidelined. Strategy shifts frequently, and cross-functional input is rarely considered, creating confusion and rework for those trying to execute effectively.
