      Pros

      I liked my manager, she was nice and inspiring. I love that it's black owned and there's no politics or meanness. I get to come to work as myself. I also liked learning new skills all the time.

      Cons

      It's a small company and you get a lot of opportunities to grow your skillet but the leadership structure is flat so it's harder to move up in management.

      Great Opportunity for Growth!

      Pros

      Working at a startup/small company has its challenges (like any other). However one thing that I really appreciate about working here at Curlmix is the opportunity for growth. Within my time of being here I have had the opportunity to learn so much about a new industry and improve my skills that lead to professional growth. I will admit that it does require being all-in, but the vision the company, its owners, and the team has had made it worth the hard work.

      Cons

      Communication around priorities can change. Understandable because this is a fast growing small company. It can still be frustrating at times though so as the company continues to grow, I'm certain this will improve as well.
