If you are looking for an internship, Curve is the place to be.
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Working with a diverse team, Curve provides a great opportunity to work with others under the same mission of social impact. Meeting new people across the globe allows interaction with different cultures and makes the workplace highly enjoyable. This becomes apparent when the operations and support team can cater to your needs at any time, whether you're an early bird or a night owl! As an intern, the team at Curve can unlock your potential, by giving ample support even when times get challenging. Given the size of the company, success relies on being able to take on different tasks and taking the initiative to "think outside the box". This allows for a tremendous amount of growth as a student, which reflects positively in a future career. This internship was conducted during a time of uncertainty, but the resilience shown by the team stood out as they were able to adapt quickly and I was still able to complete a successful internship, which speaks volume of the organisation's agility. If you are looking for an internship, Curve is the place to be. The organisation sets itself apart by really taking you onboard, instead of seeing you as "free labour". Your voice and opinions will be heard like any other seniors in the team, you are given the chance to be mentored closely by those experienced in your field and best of all, social impact is at the heart of Curve Tomorrow; there is no better feeling than knowing the work you do today will help those in the future tomorrow!
Cons
Given the size of the organisation, Curve has a very short onboarding process for interns (which no doubt they are working to improve). However, this shouldn't detract anyone from applying - you'll still connect with the right people who will help guide you through the process and you're only a message away from the team! Besides this, I had no negative experiences during my internship and am grateful for the opportunity!

Pros
Really amazing company. Everyone is lovely and culture is great. They really make me fell I am part of a family not a business. Very flexible with remote work and time. The company is quite stable with lots of projects on the pipeline and always paid me on time. The team is great and very diversified with people from all over the world.
Cons
A bit understaffed at the moment. Hopefully it can find more good people to hire.

Cons
- The work can be challenging and stimulating, so best for people who are up for a challenge

Pros
A solid team split across a number of offices globally, Curve Tomorrow has offered me an opportunity to grow my skills as a developer and as a leader. The leadership team is accessible, and the delivery teams are given a great amount of trust and autonomy. The company (and workmates) are socially conscious, not only driven by profits and shipping code for code's sake. The whole team is allowed a voice on matters of company direction and OKR's, and creativity and costs are well balanced in projects. The company has a strong focus on personal wellbeing and work/life integration and a progressive culture.
Cons
As a growing company, there are times when you will be asked to step up out of your comfort zone to fill the needs at the time. The flexible and flat hierarchy would not be suitable for people who like strict organisation. The fields of work lead to work with NFP or research organisations, which often means fixed-time/scope contract arrangements which might not suite some workstyles. A focus on impact & social causes means that salary and career progression might be slower than other companies.

Pros
1. Culture: Working at Curve was a real surprise. Most of the companies I worked with in the past had a very serious tone to them and politics involved, but here in Curve everyone is really cheerful and supportive of each other. Everyone is driven towards the same goal of impacting a billion lives, they hold daily standup where they discuss about what is going on with work and personally, they also regularly give shoutouts to anyone doing a good job so no one is let feeling unappreciated. They also organise regular health initiatives where employees form groups and play fun games and open up to each other. 2. Goal: The goal everyone is working towards is very different from other companies, the goal here is to impact a billion lives and they don't take any project that is not impacting lives of people. They also include the impacted lives in their quarterly review along with the revenue which I felt was quite unique. 3. Technology: There is a wide array of technology they are using and I got to learn a lot. Be it AI/ML, Web development, Backend development or App development they have all the fields covered, so i feel there is a lot of opportunity for someone who is interested in a lot of things. 4. Code: There is always an emphasis on Clean Code with the best practices. I am a much better coder now because of the practices I learnt here at Curve. 5. Compensation: The compensation here is on par with the best companies out there.
Cons
There are very few cons that i found in my short time here but here is one: 1. Self Management: You need to take the initiative in a lot of cases and reach out for the next task, everyone is working on multiple projects and have little time to micro manage you.
