RUN AWAY!!!

Pros

None that I can think of. The atmosphere is very hostile and they are on the verge of a class action lawsuit if things do not change.

Cons

They promise you a lot in the beginning and do not come through with what you signed up for. The legacy owners are horrible and blame everyone else for their mistakes. You WILL NOT receive proper direction or the tools for the job, regardless of the position. Oh, and the shop manager will yell at you and have a fit like a five year old.

Pros

Only available if you look like the majority

Cons

Racism is abundant and flagrant to the point that management does not recognize the issue. Harassment is par for the course of you aren't Management's favorite and human resources will not be there to support you. There is constant harassment and micromanaging from management who are protected by human resources. Retaliation is ignored and they will find any way to discharge employees that don't kiss the ring. The diversity of this company is laughable and creates a hostile environment where racist humor is just good fun in their eyes. Company standards are fluid and nothing, even in writing, is a guarantee. The company lacks cohesiveness from department to even different locations with various ways of doing everything wrong. Trucks that are inspected brand new here are riddled with issues that management doesn't care to fix so long as they make it to customers. The Ross' may care but management is a hodgepodge of unprofessional individuals elevated to levels they don't have the qualifications for but someone liked them. Training equates to figuring out everything for yourself. I suggest running away if you are even offered a callback because the turnover is high and there's good reason. My department was riddled with addicts testing heavy equipment worth $$$$$$ but OSHA violations are rampant
