Revolving Door, Lack of Resources, Poor Upper Management

Pros

Good benefits. Mostly great people to work with.

Cons

Far too much work and not enough people. I end up working 10 hour days and still don't feel like I can get anything done because of all the demands. A lot of people are seriously burnt out and have left the company, particularly middle management. There are too many consultants who come and go. Too many new people who have no clue and get no training on policy and procedure and have to be repeatedly taught from scratch by other teams. New people come in with much higher pay than legacy. Upper management's expectations and demands are too high and unreasonable, the direction of the company is not clear, there is far too much "siloing" and internal politics, nepotism is rampant with upper management, and "thank you for all you do" only goes so far. Pay is much lower than average. We can't attract good talent that stays. Little upward mobility unless you make yourself available 24/7 and give up your life.

Sad Place

Pros

Co-workers are nice and they have *very effective* air conditioning all year.

Cons

Pride themselves on spending more time at the office than at your home. Progressively becoming more strict with working accommodations. Management is not there to help anyone, but rather enforce ridiculous policies and procedures. Depressing and miserable place to work. They also (self admittedly) pay below industry standard, and their benefits are not competitive.

Toxic Culture, Burnout, and Lack of Transparency

Pros

Biweekly pay, but that's about it.

Cons

This company struggles with a toxic culture, lack of transparency, and high burnout. Leadership ignores workload concerns, despite rising turnover, and communication is consistently poor. Pay and bonuses are inconsistent and fully at leadership’s discretion with no guarantee of receiving, despite strong performance, inflation, or market shifts. Performance bonuses are vague and mostly issued in stock, with vesting and forfeiture information buried in the company intranet and only available after hiring. Employees must also open a company bank account for direct deposit—undisclosed until after joining. The in-office policy is unfair and enforced despite no real office culture—focused more on appearances than productivity—while remote flexibility is reserved for a select few. Chronic understaffing and limited resources lead to long hours and ongoing pressure. If you’re looking for a supportive and transparent employer, this is not the place.
