Pros

Good intro to Cyber if you've not been in the industry previously

Cons

Being a PE backed company, metrics and operations are the name of the game. The new CRO is not a salesperson but rather an operational MBA who has no idea about risk, Cybersecurity or even vendor management. His decision was to eliminate the sales team and replace them with inside sales to lower the cost of client acquisition. They're following the typical PE playbook and it's unfortunate. Sad to see.

Pros

Great clients, a few great co-workers.

Cons

Terrible leadership. Unprofessional conduct by C Suite and VP level staff. HR cares more about being friends with senior leaders than taking care of the employees. Toxic gossip culture.

First of all, I am truly sorry that this wasn't the right fit for you. We try hard to make this one of the best places to work but unfortunately it isn't for everyone. People Ops strives to have great working relationships with everyone at CyberGRX and we are a very friendly group. It's unfortunate that you saw it as more than that. Regardless, we appreciate the effort that you put in and wish you the best of luck with your next career opportunity, whatever that may be. Ben - People Ops Business Partner

Pros

Great company benefits, base salary, time off, etc. Our peers, along with the rank and file, really do want what's best for the company and work very hard to move the needle. The company is geographically located in a wonderful place. Some of the new executive team have good ideas.

Cons

Key executive team is poison and lack integrity. It's hard to trust/believe what's real anymore. This has led to poor morale and fear of exposing it. Our freshmen CEO has been telling the same story year after year and can talk up the product well. He however, has absolutely no clue once past the smoke and mirrors. Sure, we have X number of assessments in the exchange, but, we all need to be asking how fresh that data really is. We can change direction as many times as ask us too, but, until we fix the core of our offering the exchange & data has/have no real value outside of just checking a box again. You just can't have a successful business this way. Not sure how we're going to fix.

Thank you for your recommendations. Hopefully you expressed some of these concerns in our latest engagement survey, or, as a senior leader within the company, directly to your executive team member. The executive team and People ops have an open door policy and value this type of feedback to continuously improve the business and employee experience. We've seen a lot of new ideas, changes and new faces, but we are already starting to see the success of many of these things.
