      Ill-managed 'startup'

      Well, the company calls itself a 'startup' despite being in its 12th year of operation. Not surprising since there is absolutely no maturity in process, revenue growth or people practices ! The CEO is surrounded by a bunch of 'old timers' who are as inept and inefficient as it can get and they try their best to put down anyone who comes in new and challenges their authority. Many good techies and others have left as the company has nothing to offer them in terms of compensation, challenging projects or processes. They always seem to be in a hiring mode but those are all backfills for people who have left !

      1. Lots of new learnings. 2. Working on latest technologies. 3. CEO is always approachable.

      Cons

      1. No work-life balance. There is no official timings. 2. Have to work extra hours almost every day and sometimes on weekends without any compensation. 3. Low pay as per the industry standards. A lot of good minds have already left the company, and now people are made to work on multiple projects as a replacements.

      - The company has started firing their integral resources to save the runway. - No employee performance framework is adapted. No performance reviews carried out. - No product vision, each month the goal and vision changes. - Work culture has depleted to a large extent due to false practices. - Middle management and leadership lacks people management skills. - No transparency in decision making.
