Pros

Some genuinely smart and well-meaning people work here. The concept behind the product has potential. Flexible environment if you know how to manage yourself.

Cons

The tech stack and actual capabilities often don’t match the way the product is pitched. This leads to repeated frustration from clients once they discover the gaps post-sale. Frontline employees end up absorbing the fallout. Executive leadership lacks originality and clear direction. Communication feels scripted and disconnected from what’s really happening in the company. The broader TLV tech community does not view the company as a serious player, and that reputation makes both hiring and retention increasingly difficult. The office is essentially empty most days, giving the place a “ghost-town” feel rather than a sense of team cohesion. HR and management practices often create uncomfortable or awkward interactions, and there’s little emotional intelligence at the leadership level. Pros

I had the pleasure of working at Cymbio for a few years, and gained many valuable insights on what processes contribute effectively to business value, and which do not. At it’s core, the technology Cymbio provides is nothing revolutionary, (as around 5-6 other large platforms currently do the same thing) - it is simply a developer shop providing various e-commerce automations, such as supplier to warehouse order fulfillment processing, as well as pricing and product automations. The main reason that Cymbio is alive and is doing well financially (compared to other self serve ecommerce automation platforms), is due to the special partnerships and business relations with many large apparel brands, and the aggressive sales team. Only 4-5 of the large brands Cymbio is partnered with contribute the majority of revenue to the company, and they receive the most care and attention. Echoing another review here- the product itself is very far from being a self serve platform, as every semi-large client requires a full time account manager to perform all the operations for them, as well as a support team constantly working overtime to handle and mitigate customer issues. The R&D team is very rigid with their processes of bringing a feature from product inception to production- many times at a detriment of providing any real business value. Many of the programmers are at a junior level, aside from the R&D management level and a few select individuals, and the codebase and amount of bugs entering production can show for this- but that is not the main issue. The main issue is how slow the development velocity is, how non self-sufficient the platform is, and how much manual intervention is required for every feature that Cymbio provides. With a few small changes in company structure and culture, the whole R&D team could easily be condensed to around 1/3 of the size- and in turn provide 10x of the value compared to what it is currently providing. In the end, I believe that there is potential for the company to become an industry standard in the ecommerce automation space, but after working there for sometime and for all the reasons i mentioned above, i cannot envision this happening with the current structure and state of the company any time soon. If this does not concern you, i would happily recommend Cymbio to anybody looking for a healthy work life balance, fun people, and overall good vibes in the office. There is also honesty lots of potential to grow professionally, and to provide an impact to the business- you just have to be willing to take the initiative to do so. Most of the team will listen to anyone with an open mind, and leadership and taking ownership is encouraged. There are definitely people with big egos, but this is nothing that doesn’t exist in any other companies. If you are assertive, are effective at communicating, and genuinely want what’s best for the team and the company, there is the very serious potential to help send the company to the moon.

Cons

If you are looking to invest time into a startup that is on a strong and healthy path towards becoming a unicorn, or if working on a system that is stagnant will bother you, then i would suggest to look elsewhere

Pros

The people are the company’s greatest asset. I worked alongside incredibly smart, kind, and dedicated colleagues who genuinely care about customers and each other. Everyone genuinely wants to help the customer—even if the tools and structure don’t support them.

Cons

In my experience, the product being sold as “automation” is, in reality, dependent on extensive manual work and offshore teams. Most tasks are handled behind the scenes by human intervention, not by any scalable technology. It was clear during my time that there was no single source of truth. Documentation was sparse or outdated, and most operational knowledge lived in the heads of a few key individuals, creating constant bottlenecks. Leadership seemed more focused on maintaining a polished external image than fixing the structural and technical problems that affected daily work and customer satisfaction. Based on how things were run, I personally don’t believe the company has a viable path to profitability or an exit—there’s no proprietary tech I ever saw that would support that. Innovation was stagnant. Most “new features” were cosmetic or manual workflows disguised as automation.

We at Cymbio are super proud and happy to work with amazing people who are committed to both our customers and each other. The average tenure at Cymbio is more than 50% longer than the industry average, which is something we are incredibly proud of, and we believe says a lot. We will continue to hire, support, and grow together with the best people in the industry. Cymbio is a leading company in digital commerce, which is the first to implement AI to manage marketplace operations for brands. We are proud to be pioneers in the industry. We work with the world's top fashion brands and we are committed to their success. To provide our partners the best possible service we do not rely solely on AI at this stage, and we indeed need to monitor and involve our team members in training the models and reviewing cases where the model's confidence level is not high. This is a standard practice. Joining Cymbio means taking part in a journey that is changing digital commerce. It requires dedication, trust, and the ability to collaborate with amazing humans and agents. Working at Cymbio may not be a fit for everyone, and that’s ok.
