Pros

Only pro is she pays employees to write good reviews - will watch over you to make sure!

Cons

Everything is horrible here. Cynthia is a nasty person! No idea how this business has survived with the high employee retention. The whole industry knows how cruel she is. No training, no HR, no development, no management, no support, no communication, no culture. Treats you like slaves. Not worth destroying your mental health for - she’s a real bully! Will scream at you, call you names and even lock you out of your computer in order to get you to quit. Not a safe environment for anyone.

Pros

Besides the president & obviously Cynthia, the staff are great, hard working, talented, kind-hearted, down to earth people. I can say I made friends for a lifetime

Cons

Where do I start: -Extremely high turnover due to irrational demands and workload -Favouritism, shown in the unfair compensation throughout HQ. They threw the title of “Controller” but I was only paid a bookkeeper salary -Benefits are terrible, insurance is very expensive, no 401k. If you have a medical emergency or a family emergency you are docked for your vacation days -No flexibility for mostly online roles. Cynthia doesn’t trust her employees enough to let them work from home. Instead, she will take a vacation day and STILL DEMAND the same amount of work, as if you were in the office -Constant micromanaging from the president, pointless meetings ALL DAY -Impossible expectations -Constant barraging and unprofessional cursing and yelling. Cynthia will yell and disrespect you in front of everyone, at any point -low pay -long hours -company is constantly getting harassed by creditors and people she owes money to -prepare to be uncomfortable having relationships with other businesses because Cynthia will find a way to take advantage, not pay them for services, or lie. Leaving you in the position of having to deal with the repercussions. -No job security -Background conversations from the president, Cynthia and the “inner circle” -if you do not stroke cynthia’s Ego, you will not make it far -constant blame and never any responsibility for things that are out of your reach

Working Here is Psychological Torture

Pros

If you enjoy watching someone use mediocre skills on unsuspecting innocents purely in order to induce self-destruction, you have definitely come to the right place. Job security is another pro- they will NEVER fire you because they won’t pay unemployment instead they will abuse you and break you until you have no choice but to die or quit. You will receive no guidance whatsoever, you will definitely learn if you are really a self starter within two weeks on the job. If you manage to quit before you are completely broken internally you have won at life and will probably feel empowered to accomplish anything.

Cons

INCREDIBLY UNORGANIZED. Both the owner and her President (also self named CEO) are so unprofessional and unethical. The owner doesn’t know how to run a business and takes no responsibility. Get used to being spoken down to, yelled at in front of coworkers and being verbally attacked daily. Expect to be overworked and grossly underpaid and that’s if your lucky enough to get paid. Company is a sinking ship and due to lack of money hold your breath every pay period because sometimes you won’t get paid on time and then when questioning it expect to be told “you can wait two days what’s the big deal” but also know that they won’t tell u in advance of not getting paid. You will just wake up to no money ever hitting your account with no notification. President of the company if you can even call her that does absolutely NOTHING except for roll her eyes and give attitude when things don’t go her way. You can expect child temper tantrums out of her and huffing and puffing when she doesn’t like an answer. The best part of the day is when she is at her fake meetings where she tries to convince everyone she’s getting investors. No company would be stupid enough to invest in this sinking ship. President thinks she is better then everyone because of her Harvard degree and doesn’t let anyone forget she went there probably because it was the peak of her life. She has no business being hired as she knows absolutely nothing about the fashion industry she just used her big words to sell Cynthia that she can get investors. Company name is only still around due to is licensing agreements because anything Cynthia designs herself doesn’t sell. You might be asked to do something that compromises your ethics for example photoshopping signed employee contracts to alter wording or salary stipulations or asking factories to lie on invoices so you don’t have to pay as much taxes on imports. Falsifying documents is probably the only thing this company is good at besides for picking up newly graduated kids eager to start there career and then abusing them until they quit. Every good review listed on Glassdoor for this company is a lie. Cynthia got wind of all the bad reviews and forced interns and employees to write reviews that she then approved before submitting. If I can leave anyone with any advise it’s run and never look back working here hurts ur resume more then anything as everyone in the industry knows how unorganized and unprofessional it is.
