There really aren’t any Cons besides the fact that Cypress doesn’t offer a 401k match. Remote work would be nice since the traffic in San Diego is rough.

Pros

Cypress in an incredible company to work for that really cares about their employees. The culture is relaxed, fun (foosball, ping pong, happy hours, team events, community service, celebrating wins), and focused on pushing individuals and the company forward. It all starts with the leaders of the company, who are down to earth and very accessible. I have a personal relationship with all of them and they never stop trying to improve the company, culture, benefits, training, and so on. Cypress' recruiting model is focused on quality, unlike other agencies that are all about the numbers/metrics - that goes a long way to create a healthy working environment. Cypress loves to promote from within and reward top performers. Everyone has a clear path ahead of them in the company.

Cons

Recruiting can be stressful and full of ups and downs, but there isn't a better agency to work for. They are able to see the big picture.

Pros

Great, realistic, down to Earth recruiters/staffers working for high-profile companies filling exciting and interesting roles.

Cons

Like other staffing agencies, there's not much interest in keeping contractors employed once a contract has run its course or is winding down.
