Pros

I've only been there for a year and overall Cytec (now Solvay Group) is a great place to work, They offer a good pay - through union - and also have a great benefit package. I'm using the tuition reimbursement program that has proved handy so far.

Cons

Union driven therefore seniority take the forefront in any decisions of advancements!

Pros

I cant think of any except if you are desperate to get a job

Cons

Too much infighting and politics. Egomaniac senior supervisor except a few which are good like al thomas Not a good place to be only if you are a sadist and like to be miserable

Pros

Met a few nice people

Cons

Lack of employee resources, management back-biting, lack of support by management, management knowledge of release of incorrect product, promising employees updated benefits when none were on the way. Moving receptionists into upper positions, not paying them raises, and expecting top quality results.
