Good People, Poor Management

Pros

You work with some very talented and professional people. Most of them were great and became great friends. Good projects and assignments to work on. Great benefits, unlimited personal days (when you could take them) matching 401k and healthcare.

Cons

Stingy on salary pay and just about everything else. CEO is one of the worst micro managers in the business, is out of touch but still acts like he knows everything. The atmosphere he promotes is very negative and composed of favoritism. He doesn't respect and reward the talent he has leading to high turnover and low morale. At such a small firm (15-20 people) it seems very wrong to see almost 15 hirings, firings, layoffs and plain quitting within 1 year with only a handful of people being with the company for 5 years+. Considers himself a comedian and often tells very inappropriate jokes.

Pros

You got free food when we had media tours

Cons

It was like high school, the people were always bashing each other and the clients. Training was a joke, they expected you to learn everything in 3 days. The turnover is extremely high no one lasts in that position because of the office culture And the pay sucked for the work and crap that you had to put up with

Limited Creativity, Poor Production Value, Nightmare CEO

Pros

There are usually projects always coming in which keeps things moving. However, it's the same thing day after day. The office does have a nice studio and production resources but it's a shame the CEO and staff barely know how to use them. Major takeaways include big name brands to add to your resume and PR networking connections.

Cons

The overall production quality of client projects is embarrassing especially with the equipment the team has access to. Office morale is negative and the team is gossipy. Sick days/Vacation days don't exist so if you plan on not being in the office, plan on answering your phone. The turnover is extremely high and voluntary.
