Confusing requirements and tasks

Pros

While I worked there, coworkers treated me very well. I liked the work that I did have to do. They were very flexible with my schedule. Snacks I guess?

Cons

I felt like management was at odds with each other. There was never enough work for me to do. They do not give you clear instructions. They both want you to take initiative and want you to check in before doing anything. You will be micromanaged. They’re severely lacking in their communication. Everyone seems unhappy working there and will consistently tell you how much it sucks to work there. They have no clear training. When let go I was not given any clear explanation as to why. Spiders.

Pros

New job sites/locations all the time. If you’re willing to show your effort, you can advance in pay/role quickly. Most coworkers are amazing and you get to work with a ton of different folks! Weekly paychecks. Variety in difficulty of jobs, some will be challenging but for sure in the next week you’ll have an easier, more relaxed job.

Cons

Training is done on the job by whoever you’re with that day, so there can be gaps in training. Dispatchers pick and choose who they will give jobs to, naturally; but they tend to hold grudges and be petty if you need a day off or somehow annoy them. Also just a regular part of this job (for any company) is that the availability of jobs slows way down in winters and picks up to an almost breakneck speed in summer. The reliability in jobs in general can be spotty.
