Pros
- friendly work environment - you can gain a lot of experience - they will pay for certifications - work truck with gas card - lots of hours during busy months - employee appreciation events are common
Cons
- low pay starting around $15.00 per hour - uninvolved project managers who rely on techs too much. - owners and supervisors make promises that they don’t uphold - they track you all day and get upset about idling company trucks. - owners play favorites with family and friends - there is no supplemental pay for bad weather or slow work.
