Pros

Some great talented people who are very passionate and knowledgeable about education. Their enthusiasm is infectious.

Cons

I can't remember a commitment they made to me or the business that they met. Product, investment salary etc. Not even close to meeting the full potential of their people. I know their customers agree.

Pros

Was a fantastic place to work until SLT imposed return to office policy.

Cons

No support or flexibility for working parents. No paid parental leave and removal of job flexibility from fully remote to mandated three days a week in office. Non inclusive policies that inhibit careers and fair working conditions for working parents.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that changes to the workplace, especially those that impact flexibility and work-life balance, can be challenging. Our decision to adjust our hybrid work model was made after careful consideration of team collaboration and what we know will help us success long-term. That said, we recognize that one size does not fit all, and flexibility remains key. We’re committed to supporting a balanced hybrid approach that works for both individuals and teams. We’ll continue to assess and adjust based on team feedback, business needs, and external circumstances. Thank you again for your feedback.

Pros

Flexible work conditions Team believes in the vision and potential of company Amazing product Generally hires people who are truly passionate about education and its potential

Cons

Disorganized Poor communication Toxic senior management who are not team players and are very much there for their own benefit. A hidden culture of finger pointing and politics. The compensation structure is messy. Not diverse in who they hire.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We agree, our people are very passionate about our product and making a difference to the way the world learns. We are working on a number of initiatives to attract, hire, develop and celebrate the achievements of talented individuals who bring diverse perspectives and lived experiences. Regarding compensation, D2L makes use of industry-leading salary surveys to ensure that our compensation and benefits are always competitive in each region we operate in. Our leadership team does pride itself on leading by example and ensuring that we have a physiologically safe work environment so it is disappointing to hear you feel different, this is something we will feed back to try and continue to focus on improving. Thank you for the additional feedback about understanding the product, with the recent updates to the Making of a Moose course, we hope to have addressed some of these concerns.
