You will be involved in a lot of large-scale projects locally. You get to learn advanced skills in quantity takeoff and cost estimate. You will be familiar with local markets, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.

Cons

Advanced tasks like constructing detailed preliminary cost breakdowns, creating detailed technical and financial proposals are very very (yes very) exclusive to pioneers only and you have to spend many years to be able to have access on that learning. Otherwise, you'll get to do repetitive tasks over and over again.
