Pros

1)Job Guarantee - No matter if you perform or not, the job is there till you retire 2)Friendly colleagues but politics do exist 3)Flexible time.

Cons

1) Very low salary for freshers and also for experienced. Even after working for 6 years my salary increased by hardly around 2000-2500 per month from an initial 20000 i received in 2012. 2) Dealing with HR is a pain. They want you to join company within a week but they force you to stay for 90 days (or if you are lucky 30 days+ rest in salary payment for 60 days) as notice period and also delay a lot in giving you the experience/relieving letter. 3) Dusty area. 4)The appraisals happen in September and arrears are paid in March the following year. And appraisal are less(2000 for a person drawing a salary of 40000) 5) 2 year compulsory contract for both fresher and experienced (penalty: Rs 200000 only) 6) No transportation facility by management. 7) expect no freebies or team dinners etc. U'll get a box of sweet at ayudha pooja. And ya 1 team outing per year to a resort.

Cons

I have moved to other company after working at DGS(Bangalore, India) for two years. I served the notice period of three months and gracefully left the org. Even after 2 months of leaving the company I have not received the relieving letter which was supposed to be given before last working day itself. And the HR behaves very rudely and disrespectfully scolds when the relieving letter is asked. It's a shame on company to behave like this. If anyone joining this company, be very very aware that you're working period at DGS will not be added as your experience at the end when the 'HR' rejects to give you the relieving letter. Disgusting behaviour and ethics. PS: I've worked very efficiently and have given very good results during the time at DGS and was promoted also. So there is no drawback in performance also, though there is no relation between issuing relieving letter and performance of an employee.
