Pros

Catered lunch 2x a week

Cons

-very nepotistic, they will protect “their own” I.E. other Armenians at any cost even if they’re a financial drain to company and at the expense of talented employees w/o personal relationship to executives or cultural ties -do not value conceptual thinkers or creativity at ALL. Not receptive to feedback. Will ignore conversations about process and titles for the entire duration of your tenure. -do NOT value professional growth. I didn’t realize just how traumatizing working there was until I moved onto another company where expectations were clear and streamlined; DISQO management does not set employees up for professional success- when I worked there I had the equivalent of what is 20 different roles at my new company - and neither the title nor the salary to reflect that. -despite your experience and skill set it is easy to feel like a failure there because they don’t believe in positive feedback, they’re highly technical and motivate based off of fear

Company that has lost its way

Pros

The pay is decent but probably on the lower end of the industry scale. Not many pros overall besides that healthcare benefits are fully covered and most people are really nice and helpful

Cons

They expect you to take on increased amounts of work constantly for the same pay and middle management has become very micromanaging in the past 6 months. No kinds of yearly raises or even inflation adjustments. Growth opportunities are pretty limited and only way to get a raise is through a promotion and even then the increase is very minimal. The C-Suite doesn't really seem to know how to lead a company and are constantly changing outlooks and priorities. They have become less transparent over the years Company is no longer fully remote as the people living within 50 miles of their offices are punished by being required to come in the office 3 days a week while more than half the company who is throughout the US gets to stay remote. Your whole team can be remote but if you live near one of the DISQO offices they expect you to work in the office.

Trash Company and Dead End Experience

Pros

Some nice people you may work with but no pros overall

Cons

- Incredibly toxic at times and constant layoffs - Culture is based on micromanagement. You will have large number of pointless meetings and they exist just for the purpose of micromanagement - They have unlimited PTO but will shame you whenever you take any time off longer than 2 days - No path to grow your career at DISQO even if they promise promotions (which is a lie). You'll find yourself in a dead end job within a year of being here - Most of the C-Suite is in way over their heads and do not know how to properly lead a company. They are only in their positions since they are the founders. - Bonuses and raises have not been given the past 2 years - Blatant Favoritism for specific employees where some can do no wrong - No 401k match - Most of the 5 star reviews for DISQO on DISQO come from management
