The pinnacle of ineptitude and nepotism.

Pros

It requires no previous experience or training. If you are a relative of a person in upper management, you are assured a job at this company. Good stepping stone, if you need experience to get hired at a better job.

Cons

Where do I start--they don't understand the value of a good employee. They pay low, and veteran employees (like myself) are constantly leaving for places that offer better pay. Even by hotel industry standards, they do not pay well. Avoid working for a hotel owned by this company like the plague. Run by an Indian company, everyone who is in upper management is related and there is no opportunity for promotion. They will heap responsibility on you for terribly low pay until they break you.

New Properties Corporate Office located in OC

Cons

The company has "7 core values" that no one follows. Everyone knows them by heart and can recite them upon demand, but they are never followed. Corporate office calls themselves "support center" but you only see them at the properties if something is wrong. All hotels are understaffed, under qualified, and generally ran on bare bones. People are hired and fired based on who they know and how well they can play the game. Experienced Hoteliers, beware... this is NOT the company for you. The lack of structure and complete chaos on a property level will drive you out of the industry.
