Pros

Very upbeat and enthusiastic; the hiring process went really quickly.

Cons

The job description used buzzwords to make the position seem more desirable, when you're really driving around metro Atlanta selling DirectTV at Walmart.... I wish they were more upfront about exactly what they were doing so I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Hello - I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss this with you. As a part of our hiring process, we invite each candidate selected for a second interview to spend a day working alongside one of our reps for a combination observational interview and in-field skills assessment. In order for us to learn and improve, I would like an opportunity to learn: 1. Who conducted your 1st and 2nd interviews? 2. At what point after the 2nd interview were you unclear as to what the job would entail? Please email me at adam@dmcatlanta.com or call the office at 770-817-4646. Thanks, Adam

This company is a joke.

Pros

If there were any I would be happy to share... But like the title says, this is a joke.

Cons

One of those companies that make you stand in Walmart with a cute little booth trying to sell fortune 500 terds to people who don't want it. Any college grad looking to start their career would be an idiot to try here first... Any schmuck can get this job all you have to do is drink the kool-aid. Any good review they have is posted by their own people who are asked to review.

I am very sorry to hear that you feel this way. I'd like to address a few things: 1. If you are, indeed, a current employee - as your review states you are - and feel this way, please come in and speak with us directly so that we can part ways. We take pride in our company and culture and certainly don't want our team members to feel like they are a "schmuck" or an "idiot." 2. It is ABSOLUTELY true that our good reviews are posted by our own people. We ask our team members to share their experiences. Under no circumstances to do we ever ask to see them or edit them first - we simply say that we'd appreciate if they would go on and, anonymously, write first-hand of their own experience. Overwhelmingly, people enjoy working here. We are #8 on best places to work in Atlanta - with a special award for Meaningfulness in our Work.

Pros

Nice People on the team, but the management is full of liars and people lying to themselves. I have to enter at least 5 words for pros, but it's difficult when there isn't any.

Cons

I'm only writing this as a cautionary tale to those that apply. They are incredibly misleading on their job postings and use various titles to spark interest from people. You'll interview and it will sound great as they basically will hire anyone and everyone. You don't find out until later that you're going to be driving to remote Wal-Marts, Sams Clubs, and the like, selling things like Direct TV. Pyramid scheme is the best way to think of this. You'll have morning meetings that felt more like brain washing sessions where they hype you up before you're sent off to various locations, only to try and meet sales goals. I quit within 3 days.

Please see my previous reply. Everyone we hire is SHOWN (not told - please read this again - SHOWN) exactly what the job will be. We explain our culture, we show them hands-on exactly what the responsibilities are. Not sure how to be more transparent.
