Pros

If you're looking for a motivational speaker come here. You'll lose weight while going door to door trying to get people to sign up for a "free estimate". Breaks are discouraged.

Cons

This place is a pyramid scheme. You start as a brand ambassador then a leader to assistant manager to manager to regional while each step making more money from the people lower than you who are doing all the work. They make it sound legit but it's not. When I asked the manager how this isn't a pyrimid scheme he told me "you have to pay to get into a pyrimid scheme" the made us buy power gear and solicitation permits. They spend all morning trying to psych you up before you go walk around neighborhoods knocking on every single door trying to get people to sign up for a free estimate. They make you get your own permits to knock on people's doors or else The cops will be called on you and the DMC management will just tell you to move to another town and knock on more doors. You start work at 8 PM and won't get home until 11 PM. The make you work in every weather condition. I was forced to work in -5 degree weather with no hats allowed policy, while I was sick or else I would be fired. They expect you to work 6 days a week minimum and 7 days if you want any kind of "promotion". The turn over rate is insanely high. Go on their LinkedIn page and you will see a picture of their "team" 3 months ago, almost all of those people are gone. All the manager does is conduct interviews for a few hours, give a motivational speech, more interviews, gym, dinner, motivational texts to all the people out knocking on people's doors. That's it. The pay is trash. They say they will make you $1000 a week but in reality its more like $200 a week. The start every new group with a "guarantee" weekly income of $400 for a 5 day week or $500 for a 6 day week (12 hours every day) they will quickly take that away. DONT TRUST THIS CONPANY!

We are truly sorry that you did not have a great experience working with us. We will definitely take your feedback to heart and use to improve our company in any way we can. As far as the concerns you expressed: - Yes, residential sales and promotions of Power is part of what we do. As far as not being aware of what was requires of the position, we do our best to explain all the aspects of our Management Training Program during the interview process and during the Orientation session when we onboard new employees. We apologize if we were not thorough enough, we thank you for this feedback so we can coach our HR team. - Just like many other jobs, our reps also wear uniforms while representing them. You, like every one of our employees, should have been provided with the apparel on your first day. - With regards to your comments about us being a "pyramid scheme”, we have never asked our associates to purchase product out of their own pockets, then resell that product. We proudly operate in accordance with Illinois state labor laws and strives to conduct business practices with integrity and excellence. Best of luck.

While we understand that not every career path will be a match. We value working hard like any other company, but time for family/friends/hobbies is also a vital part of our company culture. We encourage a healthy work/life balance. We wish you the best of luck moving forward.
