Pros

Hands on experience with new technology. Friendly Managers. Friendly Team members. Friendly customers. Good job if you want to learn about how to use a photogrammetry scanner.

Cons

Worked almost everyday of the week. No overtime payment. No Benefits. Low wages. Impossible to get time off. Constantly working public holidays. Strange workplace hierarchy. Not enough communication or transparency. Unfair workload. No work/life balance. Inappropriate demands from the CEO.

Pros

There are none. I'd rather be unemployed than work here.

Cons

Let me start off by saying that this is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. Empty promises for picking up new skills. Foot traffic is always low. The store hours make no sense based on our location. No benefits for full time. The higher ups don't seem to care about taking any advice from the employees and it shows. There is literally nothing to do at the store unless someone walks in. There is no option to be productive for the company or yourself during work hours as management doesn't seem to know or care to push for change within their work space. They force you to stand awkwardly in the store waiting for someone to walk in. They're so cheap they can't even afford garbage bags or even a basic mini fridge. I used to bring a cooler to put my lunch in. If I could rate Doob 0 stars I would.

Pros

When hired the pro that I anticipated was that this company is a "start up" which could possibly provide an opportunity to sink my teeth into the work of the company. Read my cons and you'll see exactly how that worked out.

Cons

Doob 3D is an absolutely awful place to work. If interviewed and hired you will be promised many things. You will be told you will be a key member of the team and will have the "amazing" chance of giving your talent to its mission. Unfortunately, the CEO does not trust his employees. Individuals hired are young people, straight out of school, who are willing to accept low paying wages without benefits. This is the best way for the CEO to run his empire while taking advantage of his employees for his own gains without having to respect the people who work for him. These young career thirsty beginners are pitted against each other by the manipulation of the CEO. As I previously stated he does not trust his employees and is constantly trying to test people to trip them up in front of coworkers resulting in Doob's accusatory and toxic environment driven by open employee shaming, humiliation and negativity. Because of this formulated environment the company is not improving nor growing quickly as the CEO will confidently assure you. There is no creative drive pulling its carriage forward. He has hired many talented people who are abused into lesser positions to allow for all final decisions to be his own rather than trusting his team of intelligent and creative people that believe in the company. With this type of attitude from such an incredibly small minded and uncreative person Doob will surely never grow to its potential. Long story short - Doob is not the place for any person to expect a healthy and worthwhile career building experience. I can't imagine the quality of life working here to improve any time soon. Working for Doob provided no professional gains for me other than learning from the mistakes I saw being made. It was a waste of my time and a huge regret. I have never felt so humiliated and defeated by an employer in my life. Take heed of this review and think twice before accepting a position that is not worth breaking your spirit for.
